The Magnet Maze Challenge

As a culminating project to bring our study of magnets to a close, scholars designed and created magnet mazes.  While working through the design process and while testing the mazes, scholars tested both the 'magnetic attract force' and the 'magnetic repel force' to move the paper clip through the maze. There was discussion around which end of the magnet was being used, the north pole or the south pole.  I was thrilled to hear this science vocabulary being used in such a natural and proficient way!
