Ms Boynton,
I'm having some trouble getting Gus to say anything. I push play, amd he starts, but only for a half a second. Am I doing something wrong.

Hi Jill - I am so sorry this is not working for you - how frustrating!
I did some checking and the Voki works on my PC and my laptop but not on my iPad. What device are you using?

It's 12 meals.

Ms Boynton, Is there a way to post a picture to show how i came up with my answer?
I drew 6 days and made a dog bowl for each day. I counted the dog bowls and came up with 12 bowls of food for Gus. My dad can use this picture and put an x through each bowl every time he feeds Gus. On the last day he feeds Gus, this will make me happy because my mom will be home.

Gus needs 6 brekfasts and 6 dinrs. Gus needs 12 meels. I think he shud write on a paper and put it on the tabl to reemind his dad to feed him.

Hi Major! It is so good to hear from you!!
I will share your solution with Gus. He'll be soooo happy to hear that he'll be getting 12 meals:)
How did you figure that out?

Drawing a picture is a great way to solve a problem! If you email the picture to me, I will post it when I get home tonight.
I like your idea of using the picture and x's to keep track of the meals - I think I'll use it;)

Hi Heidi! I'm so glad you found your way to the class blog!!!
I see that you figured out how many breakfasts and how many dinners Gus would need then put them together...smart thinking;)

Put a note for dad that says how many breakfastes and dinners that Gus needs. That's 12 meals.

Hi Austin !!
I am so glad to hear from you :)
You are right - 6 and 6 together make 12. Now, I have another challenge for you. Gus also gets 3 treats each day. Can you figure out how many treats that will be? I'm wondering what strategy you will use?
